The Carr Fenton Foundation is a charity dedicated to advancing education, training, employability and care. For almost two centuries, we’ve supported children, young people and adults to learn, grow and thrive.
Our Foundation brings together five specialist services – from early years to adulthood – each designed to meet different needs, yet united by one shared purpose: giving everyone the chance to achieve on their own terms.
We’re proud to be recognised for our expertise in Deaf education, British Sign Language and SEND provision, offering opportunities that build confidence, independence and lifelong skills.

Our mission
To provide outstanding specialist education, training and care for people who are deaf or have communication difficulties and learning disabilities. We develop partnerships that benefit our provision and the wider community, while training our workforce to inspire children and young people toward independence and employability.
